Brookings is a wonderful place with mild weather, incredible scenic beauty and wildlife. Step back in time to a kinder, gentler place. I absolutely love living here in Brookings, OR. I know this area well and would really appreciate the opportunity to share it with you. I am very open and honest. I only care about you, my client, and your interests...your needs...your goals. The highest honor I have received is being voted by the people of this wonderful community their Favorite Realtor, People's Choice Awards 2008. Even though I have received dozens of awards through the years, to me this honor is the most heart-warming. This means the people of this community have chosen me as their "Most Favorite Realtor". Wow :o) Re/Max Pacific Northwest Region has given me many acheivement awards also.
I am the Principal Broker and Owner of Re/Max Coast and Country. I enjoy working with the agents on my team. I am their leader, mentor, and motivator. I am passionate about my chosen field. I love to come to work everyday and don't consider it work. It is fun, exciting. I really enjoy meeting people that come to explore this area which I lovingly call "The Crown Jewel of the Oregon Coast".
I have earned educational designations such as the Council of Residential Specialists (CRS). The Certified Residential Specialist is the highest Designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field. The CRS Designation recognizes professional accomplishments in both experience and education. I have received these special recognitions: 202 "Effective Buyer Sales Strategies", 204 "Creating Wealth Through Residential Real Estate" and 206 "Using Today's Technology to Capture Your Market".
I am also a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) taught by the National Association of Realtors (NAR). The GRI designation is the mark of a real estate professional that has made a commitment to providing a superior level of professional services by earning the GRI designation. REALTORS with the GRI designation are highly trained in many areas of real estate to better serve and protect their clients. I highly value continuing education in real estate and in life too.
I am experienced in general, especially in investment and tax sensitive cases. I am proficient in IRC 1031 exchanges, investing in real estate using IRA funds, etc. I have worked for many years with an investment group based out of Irvine, California with over 80,000 buyers looking for good investments. Some of those investors are wealthy today.
On a personal note, I am a single mother of two amazing children, Andre and Sarah. I was privileged to be able to adopt them after being their foster mom. Our home has two kids, one dog, three cats and one fish. Are you smiling yet? I believe my Mission Statement below will show you more about my motivation and heart.
